The final image for the Big house by Alex of FF-fields was in my email today. I think you will agree that it is awesome. If you are thinking of getting a custom field made I can’t recommend FF-fields enough. After working with Alex on the Zlurpee Bowl field and then this one i’m amazed at how much he works with his customers to make sure they are happy.

As previously reported the team was honored to win the Best Converted Team category of FF-Fields “Team Too Cool” contest. They have been working with Alex to get the new logo for the team done, and we are able to show you his amazing work now.

The Miners have been talking to the media department and have decided to branch out a bit. To help get the word out on the team they have started a Twitter account, and will soon add a breaking news section to the website. This should give fans of the team more regular updates, and a way to interact with the team. Golden Toe Joe will be running the twitter account, be sure to follow the team so you can talk to the Captain himself.

Plans are coming together, and it looks like Da Miners will be returning to Krrrunch Bowl at Origins on June 2nd.

Team Too Cool

Stupor Bowl V

The team is back from Stupor Bowl V. While no trophies came home with them they still had a very solid performance. They missed out on the final four by a very small margin, and were one of the top teams most of the weekend. Salter Painton joined the team for the second time, and helped them go 3-1-2 (W-L-T). The team really struggled to take the other teams players off the pitch and that was a huge factor in them not pulling out another win or two. They started off the tournament with a very impressive 4-0 win over the Hashut’s Hellsmiths. But sadly that was the highlight of their weekend.

It’s been a long time since the Miners were at the top of the list, but after two solid performances this year they have made it back. After the headbangers ball results were entered it was official, Da 40 Miners are America’s number 1 Dwarf team!

Tradition of Greatness

The team isn’t getting complacent after the HeadBangers Ball win, they are already hard at work prepping for the Stupor Bowl. Other then the Chaos Cup, the Stupor Bowl would be the tournament that the Miners fans would most like to see them do well in. The team and coaches know that and want to keep this years early success going.

Champions Again!

Do 40 Miners drought is over, they have returned from Heandbangers Ball II as the tournament Champions! A perfect 4-0 record sealed the deal for the team. Two tournaments into the year and two podium finishes it is beginning to look like the team is back to the championship form we remember. The banner is currently being made, and plans for the raising celebration are being finalized. We are expecting a big crowd in the Big House to welcome the team back and to see the raising of the new banner. The team can’t take too much time off though as Stupor Bowl is just around the corner.

Training to Bang some Heads

While the Miners have been hired to be the hosts of Royal Rumble, they are sure if they will be playing or not. So they are looking past it and are gearing up for Headbangers Ball II. They are anxious to get back on the pitch and follow up their great performance at Frozzty bowl with another top finish at the Headbangers Ball.
