New Website.
I bet you have already noticed but the miners thought that it was time to take
things up a notch and really improve their website. They hope that the new more
professional look will really send home the message that they mean business. A lot
more information for the fans on the history of the team, and other areas that will
include Multimedia and fan interaction areas. Check back often now that the Miners
have a team reporter you can expect to see news stories posted on their website
after each tournament the Miners play in.

Scheduling Change!!!
The Miners will not be making the trip to Whippet Bowl after all. The stories of
flooding, and crazy down pours weren't enough to scare them off. But Bo
Shinbreakers threats of cutting off thier testicles if they didn't have a good showing
at the Chaos Cup this year were. They are going to spend the mont of April having
a training camp preparing themselves for the fall tournaments instead of attending
the Whippet Bowl. This is rumours of a possible trip to the Krrunch Bowl to start off
the later half of the '09 schedule but that has not been confirmed as of yet.

Grudge List, apologies???
We would like to apologize to all of the Miners fans that were very upset with the
Grudge List that we posted on our site. It was far from complete, we have added
some of the more notorious offenders to the list, but it is still far from complete. I
can only hope that this list is adequate enough for our rabid fanbase.

New and Improved Big
House!

That's right Miners fans the Big
House has been improved
upon again. It was revealed at
the Underworld cup last fall,
but since then a lot of work has
been put into it to make sure it
is worthy of being called the
Big House.

The Miners are thrilled with the renovations and can't wait to get that
Astro-Granite covered in their opponents blood at Frozzty Bowl '09. For the

This reporter has received a huge story from an anonymous union worker.
Apparently the Big House is not complete in it's final state. There are stories
floating around that their is yet another construction project going on and it has
been given top priority by some of the higher ups. It is also believed that this may
have affected the decision to change the tournament schedule for the year.

The Miners didn't waste anytime getting back
to the top. All of the changes in late '08 and
early '09 paid off and paid off quick. As the
Miners went a perfect 4-0-0 at Frozzty Bowl '09.
The first tournament they would attend in '09
and the first since the new Commitment to
Excelense campaign was put into place. The
Big House was rocking throughout the
tournament as the Miners would beat down
every team that stepped into their house. But
it was even crazier a week later when they
returned home for the Championship
celebration. 154,000 screaming Miners fans
packed the Big House, the biggest crowd the
to the top. All of the changes in late '08 and
