Da 40 Miners Big News of the Day!
2009 Season comes to a close
Well Miner fans, the 2009 season is over and what an interesting season
it was.  Started off strong with a tourney win, and quickly slowed down.  
But we did see the stout defense win a couple of awards throughout the
season.  Also saw some interesting new players take the pitch for the
team, with Boomer on the Stemfest roster, and a Deathroller fielded at the
Bell Ringers.  The team has been keeping it's opponents and fans alike
on their toes lately.  While the team didn't bring a lot of hardware home
this year the future does look promising.
What to look forward to in 2010?
The Miners are very close to reaching a milestone in games played, they
have currently played in 94 tournament matches.  So after the 6 rounds
of the Stupor Bowl they will have played in 100 games!

The Coaching staff have been told their jobs may be on the line unless
there is a strong finish at the 2010 Chaos Cup, so I would expect big
things from the team as they are focused on winning in Chicago all year
long.
